Almost two years ago I married the love of my life and I took on a new last name. With that last name I became a part of the Sesay family! Most people generally meet their future in-laws before they get married but I didn't have that luxury as my husband's family all lives in Sierra Leone.
Last summer we has plans to go to see them for one month but then the ebola crisis came in like a tidal wave and those plans went out the door. One person who I would have love to meet was my husband's sister, Mary. Mary has been diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and it has been causing so many problems for her in her daily life. She would constantly get headaches, was having problems with her vision and it was causing weight gain along with several other hormone-related issues. Much of this is detailed in the words below and thankfully there are plans in the works for Mary to have surgery to remove the tumor and get back on track with normal life.
If you are interested in donating towards her surgery and medications please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or through my contact page on this website. I am also offering mini-portrait sessions by donation and all the funds will go directly to Mary's surgery. Thanks so much for your support!
