Life has been moving fast for Filipe and Camila since moving to Canada from Brazil. Very shortly after their Brazilian wedding Filipe whisked Camila here to Edmonton so that he could attend university and get a job in Edmonton. After knowing Camila for a couple of years I noticed that when we saw other couple's wedding photos she would look at them and sigh saying " I would love to have some wedding photos like this! We don't do things like this in Brazil! " I saw this as a perfect opportunity to not only spend some time with some friends who I admire and respect but to also give them the gift of some fun and memorable wedding photos. So last summer we found a dress on kijiji that had never been worn that fit her like a glove and set off to capture their energy and great love for one another. The glorious (and huge!) bouquet came from Costco and the other beautiful details were from Camila's collection. A friend of mine, Sarah, who works at Primary Colorz did an incredible job with Camila's hair. We started in Alexander Circle in the Glenora neighborhood and ended at the Royal Alberta Museum. It was truly so much fun to spend the afternoon with this couple! But like I said, life has been moving fast and soon I'll be posting photos from this winter of the next stage of life that they have come to!
